Job Overview
Bodega Public Relations is looking for a passionate and driven Public Relations Account Coordinator to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll contribute creative ideas to strategic plans and help manage the execution of dynamic communications programs for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of public relations experience, with a proven track record of supporting brand initiatives and delivering results across a portfolio of clients.
Start Date: ASAPNote: This role requires a minimum of 4 days per week in-office.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, development, implementation, and execution of public relations and communications programs for assigned clients.
Manage a portfolio of accounts, immersing yourself in each client's business and acting as the primary day-to-day contact.
Anticipate client needs, provide strategic counsel, and deliver added value through smart, proactive thinking.Develop impactful PR strategies tailored to client objectives and target audiences.Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and budgets—ensuring quality work is completed on time and on budget.
Coordinate mailers for media, influencers, and consumers.Support logistical needs for accounts (e.g., sourcing for photoshoots, media kits, etc.).
Write compelling communication materials such as media pitches, press releases, media advisories, and social media content.Assist in developing influencer and spokesperson recommendations and support the team with research.
Monitor media coverage and track results using data tools to compile performance reports.
Plan and provide on-site support for influencer and media events.
Manage budgets and liaise with vendors to negotiate services and rates.
Stay up to date with PR, social, and digital media trends to contribute fresh ideas and elevate client programs.
Qualifications
6 months to 1 year of public relations experience (agency experience preferred).
Proven success executing PR and social media strategies.
Familiarity with major outlets in the Canadian media and influencer landscape.
Passion for working with brands in food & beverage, beauty, and wellness.
Organized self-starter who thrives both independently and in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing client relationships and maintaining professional rapport.
Highly organized with great time management skills and a "make-it-happen" mindset.
Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to fast-paced, changing environments.
