2025 Wrapped: A Year of Culture, Community, and Communication at Bodega PR

Whether it was the Labubu craze, collecting every Wicked merchandise collaboration, romanticizing “my dream date” scenarios, waiting in endless lineups to try the latest Banana Bread Matcha recipe, or Vogue declaring this the year it’s embarrassing to have a boyfriend, 2025 was defined by unexpected trends and a surge in consumer culture. 

Each moment created a sense of belonging, giving us something to rally around and feel a part of (and if you have a Labubu, you know).

In the world of trends and pop culture, we’ve truly seen it all, making this a year to remember. For us at Bodega PR, 2025 was especially meaningful as we focused on fostering relationships and celebrating the growth of our (small but mighty!) team. 

Let’s rewind and take a look at some of the year’s highlight moments that the team experienced over the past 12 months.

At the start of the year, we had the pleasure of partnering with The Liberty Inn to celebrate the opening of Ontario’s ultimate serene getaway. With five private suites, a woodland spa, and a peaceful setting designed to help guests truly disconnect from everyday life, the inn offers a retreat where people can slow down, unwind, and savour the moments that matter most. The shared love for this special destination spoke for itself, generating an impressive 61.7 million impressions across media and social channels over just 10 months.

March marked the beginning of exciting new product launches as we partnered with Laura Mercier to spotlight their newly formulated Tinted Moisturizers in a natural, dewy finish. Collaborating  with over 120 creators across Canada, we helped reintroduce this beloved classic and remind consumers that some formulas never go out of style. Our efforts reached far and wide, generating more than 14.7 million social impressions and securing this revamped favourite as a must-have in makeup bags nationwide.

Keeping the momentum of new launches going, April marked the start of our collaboration with Lord’s Hot Sauce as we helped spotlight their exciting partnership with Georges St-Pierre. And what better way to turn up the heat than with two launch parties, in Montreal and Toronto , to celebrate the release?

To extend the buzz beyond the events, we rolled out limited-edition gifts to creators across Canada, ensuring everyone had the chance to experience GSP’s signature spice levels for themselves.

As the weather warmed up, we were excited to welcome another incredible client to the Bodega PR family: Abrielle, Toronto’s premier Mediterranean dining destination. Over just six months, Abrielle’s standout dishes and vibrant atmosphere made waves across both social and traditional media, earning 20+ media headlines and nearly 10 million social impressions through influencer reservations, specialty events, and industry previews.

We weren’t ready to let go of summer just yet, so to keep the season alive a little longer, we sent a sweet package to creators across Canada, ensuring their favourite treats stayed in rotation. After all, with higher protein and lower sugar, there’s no wrong time to enjoy Halo Top!

As the year began to wind down, we shifted gears with our first-ever agency preview: Bodega Brew. Designed to spotlight our current clients while welcoming additional brands to be a part of Bodega for the day, we created an interactive market, or as we like to call it, the Bodega experience, where guests could immerse themselves in the perfect day: browsing their favourite brands with a coffee in hand. Serving as a space to introduce, engage, and connect with industry professionals, Bodega Brew allowed us to open our doors, share who we are, and tell the stories we love, all through the participation of our incredible clients.

Most recently, we had the privilege of welcoming Vivo Pizza + Pasta and Vivo Avanti to the Bodega family! This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to share their passion for culinary excellence far and wide as the team prepares some exciting announcements for 2026.

This year wouldn’t have been possible without our growing team! In 2025, Bodega PR proudly welcomed two new team members, and we couldn’t be more excited. We were thrilled to have Eve join us as our Account Coordinator specializing in social media, and Luis came onboard as an Account Coordinator in PR. We couldn’t imagine a better team to celebrate these milestones and tackle the year’s achievements with.
